SW 9th St. Pedestrian Bridge Update

The SW 9th Street Pedestrian Bridge that serves as a safe crosswalk for students at Park Avenue Elementary School is aging and in need of repair, replacement or removal.

Please join us on Tuesday, September 27th at 5:30 p.m. in the Park Avenue Media Center to hear from the City of Des Moines and Des Moines Public School Operations staff. They will be sharing information about plans for the bridge. This is a follow-up meeting; the first meeting was held last spring.

PLEASE ATTEND THIS MEETING if you have students that use the bridge on their way to and from school.
