Park Avenue students from 1st through 5th grades attended the Iowa Wild Hockey game. The Wild played the Rockford Icehogs.

The PTA earned $267.40 with your help! Park Avenue families collected more than 2,600 Box Tops for Education, which were trimmed and sorted by volunteers Ms. Jeanne and Ms. Connie. Some ideas stick, and some don’t. Some cheese balls stick (to teachers), and some don’t. Park Avenue Elementary School ended their week with a field day, and they ended their field day with a school fundraiser. For the game, students bought five cheese balls for $1 and placed them on their teachers. Money from the fundraiser will help fund field trips and recess equipment.
