Jump Rope for Heart
In February the Physical education classes are beginning a jumping rope unit. Incorporated in this unit is a fundraiser called Jump Rope for Heart where 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students perform jump rope stunts and compete for prizes. Students will be given a pledge sheet and must raise minimum donation of five dollars to attend Jump Rope for Heart event. Last year our students raised $2,350. This year’s event will be held in the gymnasium at Park Avenue Elementary School on Friday February 12th 2016. Fifth grade will be at 8:45 to 9:35 am, fourth grade will be at 9:40 am to 10:30 am, and third grade will be on at 10:35 am to 11:25 am.
